We made it! Owen has been sleeping for 4 hour periods at night lately, but last night in celebration of his 6th week, he slept for 6 hours straight!! He goes right back to sleep after eating too. He weighs a little over 11 lbs now & has been to daddy's favorite stores including Home Depot & Circuit City...teaching him from a very young age David's favorite hobbies (technology & home craftsmanship ). David will put some pics up today now that we've replaced our camera that is probably sitting in a Memphis pawnshop!

Here is our 5 week update. Owen weighs over 10 pounds now and it is quite a work out lifting and carrying him. He's outgrowing a lot of his clothes and has gone up in a diaper size. He eats pretty much like clockwork. We'll be putting more pictures up probably by week 7, so look forward to them then! |

Hey everyone. I've been extremely busy at work and haven't posted in a while. Hopefully, things will slow down a bit. Owen, Peggy, and I went on a field trip to Target yesterday. He was great, and we got him a nice, new, shiney box of diapers. He was so excited, when we got home he wanted to try them out. I did find some time this morning to upload some more pictures, so enjoy.

Today Owen is 4 weeks old! He is gaining weight like a champ, coming in at 9.6 lbs! This means he is also eating like it's an all you can eat buffet. He is so sweet, and I can't believe he is getting so big so quickly. |

Can you believe it? Owen is 3 weeks old! Today marked a special day too because Owen took a bath without screaming or crying bloody murder! For the first time, he just sat there and looked at me pleasantly with his big grey eyes in his warm soapy bath water. He did shoot mommy twice with his "Super Soaker" with much finesse. Trouble is, we were using bath time as a tactic to help keep him awake during the late afternoon, so now, I'm not sure that this will help! Maybe we can use it as a soothing tactic instead!
