Owen is more awake today. He skipped an entire nap! We went to the doctor's office today to just to get weighed. We ended up getting labs and a doctor visit anyway. Owen now weighs 7 pound 8 ounces. He lost only one ounce in the first week which is actually pretty good. With the way he is eating, continued weight gain shouldn't be a problem. We started trying to keep him awake more today so that he'll sleep at night. Hopefully, it will work. We'll see later tonight. David will put up some more pictures this weekend. |

This is Peggy's first addition to the blog. We had a pretty decent night. Owen was a little more sleepy. We've also worked out the night schedule to make things easier for owen. I get the first shift (i.e. 1 AM), David gets second shift (i.e. 4 AM), and I gets third shift (i.e. 6 AM). Luckily, Owen is having no troubles going between bottle and the "natural" bottle so David can feed him too. Sadly, David had to go back to work. Owen and I will miss him. |

Owen had a great day number 4 so far. Last night was still long, but little Owen has calmed down quite a bit and he is also feeding much better. His grandparents Lei and Joe and his aunt Dreeny all left today. Peggy and I appreciated their help and support these past few days.  |

Owen had a good night. He slept well and things seem to be getting better in that area. It's another cool day so we may go walking later with Lucky and Shadow and get some pictures. I did put up some more pictures in the gallery and will start a new gallery tomorrow to keep things simple.

Missed Day 5 but it was rather uneventful. Day 6 was a cooler day in Memphis today, and Owen went on his first walk. He didn't take any steps but did cruise around in our Peg Perego stroller/carriage. He enjoyed it and so did Lucky. Lucky and Owen are getting along quite well. This evening, Lucky gave Owen one of her toys. Anyone that knows Lucky, knows this is a big deal. Shadow has yet to notice Owen, but hopefully they'll be friends soon too.  |
